You know I never though about BSG as avoiding the whole homosexuality issue, but I did like the way that in Caprica Sam's sexual relationship was just thrown in in passing, without it being a big issue. No huge introduction, no drama, no "oh I saw that coming, now there's gonna be trouble".

As for "Caprica is far too ponderous and "getting all the pieces in the right places" long-term chess game-y"  I couldn't agree more...but I still love it!
